One thing I really like about Anantara Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa is the spectacular ocean views from the clifftops of Uluwatu. Here at the Anantara Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa you will be taken aback by the location and views from the rooms and villas.
This is the sign out the front of the Anantara resort.
After coming into the driveway of the resort this is the view I first saw upon my arrival. Already the scene is set indicating that this place is a luxury hotel.
Once I reached the end of the driveway, I first saw the front of the resort to my left. I took a picture as shown below to highlight what it looks like from the front before walking in.
This is where the spa is located at the Anantara Bali Uluwatu Resort. It's right next to the stairs when first coming up the driveway as pictured above.
After walking up the stairs and entering the lobby of the resort, this is the first scene I saw. I wasn't even in any of the rooms yet and I was still amazed by the scenic views of the ocean from here. This establishment sits up on a cliff and the elevated position only enhances the scene of this part of Bali.
This is the view of the corridors that go to the hotel rooms. All throughout the resort it has a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere around the place.
Inside the room is quite spacious, very clean and welcoming the moment I first walked in. The beds are huge, very comfortable and the bathroom is of course luxurious too. Every room and villa at the Anantara Bali Uluwatu Resort has all the facilities you would expect including tea and coffee, mini bar, free WIFI, room service and plenty more.
The bathrooms are plush to say the least. The hotel staff also do housecleaning each day so the rooms are always fresh, neat and tidy.
I took this picture from the other side of the room to give some perspective of how big the rooms really are. It's almost like a small apartment with the lounge area next to the bedroom. Behind me from where I was standing in this picture is a direct view of the open sea which is what I personally feel makes this place great to stay.
This is the view of the ocean from the room which is what appealed to me the most. I love the ocean and having this kind of view is well and truly worth it. Makes for a perfect holiday getaway just looking at this view from the hotel room.
This resort also has some very nice villas too if you're willing to spend a little more money. Here is the entry point to one of the villas.
As I expected, the villas are luxurious throughout and very spacious very much like the hotel rooms. Here is a picture I took showing the separate kitchen and dining area of the villa.
This is the lounge room part of the villa. It's very comfortable in here much like you would expect and even better. The villas are great if you have a family or a group of friends to stay here with.
This is the main bedroom of the villa and the view out the window is a direct view of the ocean. There is also a private pool in the villas too as shown in my picture on the previous page shown here.
The moment I first arrived at this resort I felt relaxed and rejuvenated even before I had checked out. It just has that real holiday atmosphere about it particularly because of location of the resort sitting high on the clifftops of Uluwatu.
The scenes of the ocean here truly are something I will never forget and most probably like no other part of Bali I've seen yet. If you're a lover of the ocean like me then this place is a must to visit. There is also several different bars, and cafes within walking distance of the hotel so you can explore around the area and see different parts of Uluwatu.
